Cheyenne, WY (part 2)
I recapped in the other post, so this post is for today.
I got up early and said goodbye to the kiddos. Ian wasn’t very happy with me, sorry little dude (((cyber hug))). I packed up my belongings, folded my newly laundered clothes (doing it while I can), and ate another awesome breakfast. Can you tell I’m hungry right now? After this I need to search out some Wyoming grub, what do Wyomians eat? :)
Later, I left Colorado Springs and visited my brother Todd while he worked in Englewood, CO. Todd, you are rad and I’m glad we had the chance to visit. Next time we’ll figure out a longer time to hang, when life settles down a little for you. [picture of Todder to be inserted here later :) ]
Ok, I’m going to go find a grocery store and gets me some eatin’s. Then I’m probably heading north to Casper or something. I’m tentatively planning on going to Devil’s Tower tomorrow. Maybe I’ll run into the aliens from Close Encounters.

I’m in Cheyenne, Wyoming! Yehaa!
I’m on the third floor at the Laramie County Library and forgot my camera downstairs in the trunk of my car. So…pictures will be uploaded later. :( This library is rad! The bathroom has a lever on the toilet where you kick it up for “liquid waste,” and down for “solid waste.” I don’t know about you, but I find that neat and a great effort for water conservation.
Recap:
Since last I posted, I played Scrabble, two nights ago, and drank far too many rum cokes. Ugh. Melissa needs to learn alcoholic moderation. I lost. Carrie and Cliff got me drunk so I couldn’t spell. Yeah, that’s it, it was because of the alcohol. Don’t disagree. Be quiet Carrie, I’m not listening to you.
Let’s see, then what? My days are blurring together a little. We hung out at the house and relaxed and then tried to go to Seven Falls, but they closed earlier than we anticipated. We’ll just have to go next time. Oh yeah, we also ate a lot of good home cooked food! Seriously, you guys know how to make a guest feel welcome, and well fed. Mmmm…tacos, and biscuits and gravy, and mashed potatoes…drool.

4 kids, 3 cans of spraypaint and a boxcutter…
So, I’m in Colorado Springs, visiting my neices and nephews (ages 10, 9, 7, and 6) and their parents. :) I got the bright idea to have them help me cut stencils and spraypaint them onto sketchbooks I bought for them. In theory, this idea was rad. But, have you ever watched 4 kids with spraypaint? Yeah. Fun. I have spraypaint on my socks. Nevertheless, tonight was fun and I love those guys. *Pictures are in this post.*
Earlier today was fun. I hung out with Carrie all day. We went to a neat coffee shop, went to the mall, yeah I know, me at a mall - weird. I bought a bandana for those days later on when I’m not showering, while camping, and need to hide my rat’s nest hair. It’s black with gratefuldead skulls, I’ll be such a dirty hippy. ;) Then we went to the store and bought spray paint and a sharp box cutter, awesome fun!
Now, I think we’re fixing to play scrabble or something and drink rum cokes. So, goodnight to the one person reading this.
