Recapping (Albuquerque to Grand Jct)

From Albuquerque I went to Santa Fe for a bit, and walked around the touristy traps. Although, there was an awesome pop art museum there.
Starving, I searched out a local brewery and found Second Street. Their Cream Stout, which is darker than I normally drink, was actually pretty good.
From there I headed north to Colorado and camped in Trinidad. For those who are wondering, no, I did not get a sex change while I was there. I’m still a dude.
From Trinidad I headed to the Great Sand Dune National Park. On the way, I found my dream house.
And a ladder to heaven? I was so pissed when it stopped and I had to climb back down. Haha.
The Sand Dunes were awesome, but damn! I didn’t think about all the exhausting walking in sand I would be doing!
After many failed attempts at timing my air guitar I asked someone. The old guy stared at me like I was crazy when I asked him to take a picture of me in air-guitar mode.
My pretty self, all sweaty, dirty and three days without a shower. Don’t worry, I had deodorant, at least.
After leaving the Sand Dunes, tired and gritty, I decided I needed to head back to a home base for recharging. So, I drove back to my old hometown of Grand Junction, Colorado. I’m currently at my mom’s, doing laundry and raiding her fridge. :) I’ll be here for about a week because I’m going to be house sitting for a lady soon. Then I’m not sure what I’m doing. Plans are overrated. :)
