I started this blog originally to document (for family and friends) a month-long road trip in Sept-Oct of 2008. Realizing the “wayward,” in the name still fit my current mood, I kept the blog afterward to ramble about whatever irregular and impulsive thoughts spewed from my brain.

About Me:
My name is Melissa. (Duh dude.) I’m an artsy fart: I design, paint, illustrate, and doodle (all of which haven’t been represented too much on this site). I’m from the 80’s, I can speak one phrase in Klingon and at some point in my childhood I owned a New Kids on the Block blanket. I drink too much coffee (mochas baby), I read a ton, and I enjoy so-terrible-they’re-awesome movies (John Carpenter’s They Live is a favorite)! One eye-twitching pet peeve I have is the incorrect use of the words “there”, “they’re” or “their.” Actually, I think switching “your” and “you’re” is worse.
